Southeast Arkansas Concert Association is participating in Arkansas Gives, the one-day online giving event to benefit nonprofits Thursday, April 7.
Arkansas Gives will be held between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. All nonprofits that are registered will receive a portion of a pool of money set aside by the Arkansas Community Foundation, in addition to individual donations to the nonprofits, a spokesman said in a news release.
“We could not provide high-quality arts programming for this area without the financial backing of our donors,” Susan Akin, concert association president, said. “We appreciate their efforts on our behalf and would like to encourage them to make their donations as part of the Arkansas Gives event in order to help their dollars stretch further.”
To donate on Thursday, go to ArkansasGives.org click the Search Nonprofits button, and then enter Southeast Arkansas Concert Association.
