Editor, The Commercial:
On Dec. 4, an article appeared in the newspaper that talked about doing away with the electoral college.
What was funny, the article stated, “Every vote in this country should have equal weight.” Yes, 11 states have already signed onto the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
This compact eliminates the votes of poor peons like you and me. Instead, states with the vast majority of people who vote a certain way would dictate the future presidential election, thus eliminating individual votes.
What amazes me the most is how easily Americans are willing to forfeit their rights under a little peer pressure. We are allowing someone who doesn’t like something (a self-centered agenda) to not only dictate how we should live, but violate our existing laws in the process.

More and more we are witnessing people behaving like little children having a temper tantrum. There are a lot of things I dislike, but like a mature adult, I take them with a grain of salt.
