Liberty to start flushing water system
Liberty Utility’s annual Arkansas water system flushing is scheduled to start Monday throughout the Pine Bluff community, weather permitting. Once the flushing begins, Liberty crews will work around the clock until the flushing is completed, according to a news release.
Annual flushing is required by the Arkansas Department of Health to ensure fire hydrants are working properly. Flushing also improves water quality.
Customers who may experience any water pressure or quality issues during the scheduled flushing times are asked to run cold water from their faucet for 10 minutes. If the issues persist, contact the Liberty Customer Care team by dialing 1-855-382-6508.
Liberty thanks customers for their patience as crews complete this required work.
