Mary Ann Kizer, Jefferson County Extension Family & Consumer Sciences agent, installed the 2025-27 officers of the Jefferson County Extension Homemakers Council at the county council board meeting July 1.
Officers are President Debbie James, President-Elect Brenda Robinson, Vice President Sarah Payton, Secretary Karen Gray, Treasurer Delores Kelley, Treasurer-Elect Linda Murray and Parliamentarian Dot Hart, according to the news release.
There are six Extension Homemaker Clubs in Jefferson County:
Camden Road — meets the third Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
Traveling with Grace — meets the first Thursday at 11 a.m.

Heart-N-Hands — meets second Thursday at 10 a.m.
Lunch Bunch — meets second Tuesday at 1 p.m.
New Horizons — meets second Monday at 5:30 p.m.
White Hall Willing Workers — meets fourth Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Also during the meeting, participants were reminded of upcoming events.
Christmas in July will be July 24 at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service, 500 S. Idaho St. Participants will collect recipes from members for the Holiday Foods Cookbook.
The annual Jefferson County EHC Holiday Foods Show will be held on Nov. 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 412 W. Sixth Ave., in the Parish Hall.
