MCGEHEE — Claudette Prosser, 66, of McGehee Ark., passed away Monday April 9, 2012, at McGehee Desha County Hospital.
Mrs. Prosser was born to the late P.C. and Emma Patton Roberts on July 3, 1945, in Dermott, Ark. She is also preceded in death by her son, Robert D. Prosser and a brother Freddy Roberts.
She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and helped with the McGehee Food Pantry.
Mrs. Prosser is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Prosser of McGehee Ark.; three sons, Joseph Prosser of Fort Smith Ark., Paul Prosser (Stacy) of McGehee and Michael Prosser of McGehee Ark.; one daughter, Paige Cashion (Mark) of McGehee; three brothers, Paul Roberts of Quitman Ark., Pat Roberts of McGehee Ark. and Tim Roberts of Dyersburg Tenn.; one sister, Sarah Wimsett of Smackover, Ark. and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in McGehee. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of McGehee with Father Rajasekhar Chappidi officiating. Burial will follow in McGehee Cemetery.
