WHITE HALL – Clara Dorothy Hyde Worthen, 92, of White Hall, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. She was born December 25, 1921 in Jefferson County to the late Oscar H. and Etta Owen Hyde. Mrs. Worthen attended Jefferson County and Hardin Schools. She was of Baptist Faith. A member of TOPS 395 of White Hall, she also enjoyed her hobbies of sewing, hand works, camping, and gospel music festivals. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Emmett Worthen; brothers Ray and James Hyde; sisters, Eloise Hunt and Lucille Anderson.
She is survived by her brother, Edgar Lee Hyde of Pine Bluff; and three nieces and three nephews. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1:30 – 2 p.m. before services all at Graceland Cemetery with Jack Jones officiating. Funeral arrangements are made by Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall.
