MEMPHIS, TENN. – Charles Davis, Jr., 63, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Pine Bluff died December 1, 2015. Born September 1, 1952 in Kansas City, Mo. to the late Charles and Erma Davis, Sr.
Survivors include a devoted partner, Dorita Simpson of Memphis; step-mother, Rosie Lee Davis of Pine Bluff; four step-children, David (Kim) Simpson of Memphis, Joseph (Bernadette) Simpson of Little Rock, Tracy Simpson of Monroe, La., and Jeffery Simpson of Atlanta, Ga.; siblings, Joenathan Davis, Gloria Carroll, Zina Edwards, and Tisa Davis all of Kansas City, Mo. and Jolene (David) Jackson of Phoenix, Ariz., and thirteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church at Ladd by Rev. Gilbert Bird, Jr. Burial will be in Mt. Labanon Cemetery by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary.
