PRAIRIE GROVE- Charles Kenneth Bowden, age 78 of the Prairie Grove community, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at his home. Survivors include his wife, Cavie Joiner Bowden of Prairie Grove Community; two daughters, Angie Sowell of Prairie Grove Community and Amy Bowden of Hamburg; one brother, Clifford Bowden of Goose Hollow; two sisters, Geneva Clampit and Ruth Ferguson both of Monticello; five grandchildren, one great-grandson; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, August 24 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday night at the funeral home.
