WHITE HALL — Charles David Bailey, 81, of White Hall, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011.
He was born June 4, 1930 on Petit Jean Mountain (Conway County, Arkansas) to the late Odie and Anna Selvey Bailey. Charles was an United States Army Veteran and a member of 6th Avenue Church of Christ. He had worked as the maintenance supervisor for the Department of Human Services and had also farmed for over twenty years with Elm’s Farms in Altheimer.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Dimple Fleming.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Griffin Bailey, whom he married March 29, 1952; sons, Ron (Sandi) Bailey of Tucker, Randy (Missy) Bailey of Hot Springs; daughter, Gina (Jim) Dean of Morrilton; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Latham of Dardanelle.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall with Don McClain officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Heath Bailey, Casey Bailey, Dustin Dean, Eric Boucher, Keith Amerson, Roy Fleming, and Mike Fleming.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Cranford Funeral Home. (www.cranfordfh.com)
