STAR CITY – Carolyn Newman, 68, of Star City died Friday. She was born August 20, 1946 in Pine Bluff to the late Ernest and Dora Lee Bridges Harper. She was a member of Lone Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired caseworker with Arkansas Department of Human Services.
Survivors: Daughter, Carol Lee (Phillip) Tucker of Cornerville and four grandsons, Eric Tucker, Phillip Tucker, Jr., Jerry Tucker and Daniel Tucker.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Monday at Leek Cemetery. Wayne Jordan officiating. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Griffin Funeral Service.
