Carolyn Ann Willis Goodman, age 68, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, June 26, 2014.
Born October 13, 1945 at Pine Bluff, Carolyn was a daughter of the late Jesse Jennings Willis and Ellen Brookshire Willis. She attended Pine Bluff schools until the ninth grade. In 1991, she went back to school and earned her GED, an accomplishment of which she was very proud.
Mrs. Goodman was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Goodman Electric. She was also a member of Pleasant Home Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Elijah Erman Goodman and Bonnie Baker Goodman; her sister, Helen McCurry; and a great-grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Erman Voy Goodman, whom she married on November 4, 1960 at the home of Brother Raymond Fitzgerald in Sheridan; her children, Elijah Voy “Butch” Goodman (Peggy), Gregory Jesse Goodman (Vickie), Karen Ann Bramlett (Brian), and LeAnn Moore (Kevin); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Casey Curtis and Braydn and Railey, Brandon Johnson (Leslea) and Hunter and Ryan, Jesse Goodman, Misty Harrison (Joey) and Peyton and Macy, Kristie Barnett and Krislyn and Kyleigh, Charlie Barnett, Zachary Bramlett, McKenzie Bramlett, Megan Moore, Joseph Moore, and Jordan Moore. In addition to her immediate family she is survived by an uncle, William H. Brookshire and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
