MONTICELLO – Carlos Morales, age 63 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born January 18, 1951 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Hillary Garcia and the late Andres Morales.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah King Cockrell Morales of Monticello; three sons, Steven Morales of Dermott, William Morales of St. Louis, Mo., and Stephen Cockrell of Monticello; two daughters, Angie Cockrell Burton of Monticello and Jamie Cockrell Hays of Monticello; his mother, Hillary Garcia of Guatemala City, Guatemala; one brother, Miguel Morales of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Rosa Oppenheim of New Jersey and Dora Morales of Los Angeles, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Prosperity Cemetery in Cleveland County, Ark., by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
