Mr. Carl Parish, 70 of Pine Bluff, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at his home. He was the fourth child born to the late Isaac Parish and Legatha Ashley Parish on July 24, 1944,
Carl received Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. T.J. Taylor.
Carl was a 1963 graduate of Southeast High School. Upon graduation Carl entered into the United States Army. Carl worked for the US postal service and as a long distance truck driver.
Carl was preceded in death by one brother-Robert Andrew Parish and two sisters-Betty Parish Smith and Eva Parish Cox.
His survivors include his brother Isaac (Barbara) Parish of Pine Bluff, Clifton Charles Parish of Los Angeles, Calif. Sister-Jimmie Parish Denton of Pine Bluff, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Christian Way Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
