Cane Creek State Park is offering an overnight kayaking and backpacking trip Saturday, Nov. 7.
The trip starts out with a lesson on kayaking followed by a guided tour of Cane Creek Lake. After getting to the destination, participants will learn the basics about setting up camp and how to cook dinner in a Dutch oven.
After a campfire breakfast the next morning, participants will travel on a guided 6.5-mile hike back to the park. Details: Seth Boone, 870-628-4714.
