Jay Bruorton, III
Jay Bruorton, III, 59, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died April 7, 2014, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born, August 9, 1954, in Andrews, S.C., to Josiah Bruorton, Jr. and Shirley Cox Bruorton.
He was reared and received his education in Pine Bluff.
Jay had worked for International Paper, before becoming disabled.
He attended Eastside Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Bruorton (Nichole) of Sherwood; his mother, Shirley Cox Bruorton Jones (Billy) of Hot Springs; grandson, Alex Bruorton of Sherwood; sisters, Renee Grimes (Kavin) of Pine Bluff, Jo Ann Rogers (Mike) of Mountain View and Paula Calhoun (Joe) of Hot Springs.
Burial by Ralph Robinson and Son will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2014, in Graceland Cemetery.
