Williams Bronson May, 82, of Hardin, passed away Saturday, June 06, 2015.
Born June 02, 1933 at Calmer, he was the son of the late Miles May and Alta Gray May.
Mr. May was a lifelong member of the Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church. A 1951 Pine Bluff High School graduate and a United States Army Veteran, he retired in 1988 from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service.
He filled his retirement years with driving a school bus for the Watson Chapel School District, woodworking and spoiling grandchildren. He also worked in security at Simmons First National Bank.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald May and a grandson, Brian Goldman.
Mr. May is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Pat Reed May; children, larry May, Wendy Yates(Clint), Danny May(Nora) and Scott May(Lou); seven grandchildren: Matt, Ryan, Hannah, Cameron, Bronson, Maggie and Miles; along with many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Roger Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery at Pratsville with military honors.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
