MONTICELLO — Brian Thomas Savage, age 25, of Monticello passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born in Monticello on March 9, 1987.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monticello, a supporter of the American Heart Association and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Brian was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, loved to play the drums and was a very devoted husband, father and son.
He is survived by his wife, Nikki Walker Savage of Monticello; his son, John Thomas Savage of Monticello; his parents, Pat Scifres Montgomery and husband, Randy of Monticello and Steve Savage and wife, Connie of Hot Springs; his brother, Chris Savage and wife, Kelly of Crossett; his sister, Ashley Savage of Monticello; his grandparents, Martha Scifres of Monticello and the late Tommy Scifres and Charles and Peggy Savage of Monticello; his nephews, Gavin and Jaxson Savage of Crossett; his aunt, Valerie Perry and husband, Mark of Jacksonville; his cousins, Logan, Blake and Emilee of Jacksonville; and many, many friends.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church by Rev. Bruce Venable. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
