GRADY — Bo Harvey, Jr., 84 of Grady, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born January 3, 1928 in Grady to the late Ben I., Sr. and Coy Rogers Harvey. He was a farmer, member of Grady Methodist Church, charter member of Grady Lions Club, Grady Mayor for 12 years, served on the Grady City Council, served on Grady School Board for number of years and a member of Big Island Hunting Club.
Besides his parents, he is preceded by a son; Bruce Allen Harvey and a sister; Louise Linneman.
Survivors include his wife; Betty Beard Harvey of Grady, whom he married January 31, 1951, 3 sons; Jimmy Harvey and wife Clara Grace of Henderson, Texas, Billy Harvey and wife Dianne of Grady and Benny Harvey and wife Wanda of Mountain Home, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 15, 2012 at Grady Cemetery. Bro. Bryan Diffee will officiate. There will be no visitation.
