St. Joseph Catholic Church at Sixth Avenue and Walnut Street in Pine Bluff will hold the Blessing of the Animals at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Walnut Street parking lot. This is an annual event to honor St. Francis of Assisi, who is considered the patron saint of animals. Deacon Bud Bryant will officiate the event and the Catholic Daughters will provide refreshments for the animals and their owners after the service. All are welcome.
