MONTICELLO — Rev. Billy M. Young, Sr., 70, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
He was born Jan. 1, 1942. Survivors: wife, Pearlie Young of Tillar, Ark.; daughter, Armenda Cole of North Little Rock, Ark.; son, Billy Young, Jr., of Mission Viejo, Calif.; two sisters, Marylee McDole of Compton, Calif., and Doris Lewis of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at Almeta M.B. Church, in Reedville, Ark., with Pastor Edward Demery officiating. Burial will be in Brown Family Cemetery in Tillar, Ark., with arrangements by Christian Brothers Funeral Home of Monticello.
