Sergeant Bill Watson, 86, of Warren, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the Bradley County Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Conway County, a son of Conner Watson and Laura Brock Watson.
He was a retired Arkansas State Police Trooper with 36 years of service, serving from F Troop in Warren.
He served his country in the United States Marines.
He was also a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ruth Watson; and a sister, Lorrain Plant.
Surviving are a son, Don Watson, of Warren; and a daughter, Donna Ragar, of Bentonville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Frazer’s Chapel.
Visitation will be from 6-8 this evening at Frazer’s.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
