Betty Jean Hilliard Tingle, 81, of White Hall, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011. She was born May 17, 1930 in Clarendon, Ark., to the late Lee Paul HIlliard and Ina Myrtle Martin Reed.
She was a member of the White Hall United Pentecostal Church and a retired waitress at Jones Cafe.
She was a member of the VFW Post 4455 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buck Tingle; daughter, Joy Lynn Hayden; sister, Pauline Chapman.
She is survived by daughters, Kathy (Darrel) Thaxton of Springfield, Ill. and Lisa (Stan) McKenzie of Jefferson; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Irene Leggett, Joan Wildman, Ruby Lawrence, Wanda Block all of Texas.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday at the White Hall United Pentecostal Church with Pastor A.D. Hill officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time, Tuesday at the church.
The family will be at the home of Lisa and Stan McKenzie at Jefferson. Burial will be in Redfield Cemetery, Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall(www.cranfordfh.com)
