Funeral services foe Bernice G. Adams 78, of Pine Bluff, passed January 7, will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. Prairie Lake MBC 2611 Indiana Street, Rev. Alvin C. Lowe pastor.
Bernice was born June 19, 1936 in Pine Bluff, daughter of the late Icey Phine Parks and Henry Brown Jr. She expressed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Thomas Chapel Church. She was a faithful member of the Prairie Lake MBC until illness prevented her from continuing. She was preceded in death by her parents Icey Phine Parks and Eddie (Jack) Parks, sister Mosella Brown, two brothers Deloartic Parks and Troy Parks. Traveling was sometimes that she loved doing as well as cooking. She was one of the best. The presentation was great as well as the food. The love of her life was her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Marjorie Hodges of San Francisco, Calif. two sisters Lorene Bell, Gloria Sanders (William) both of Pine Bluff, nine brothers, Eddie Parks, Jr., (Rachell) of Garner, North Carolina, Issac Parks (Diane) of Pine Bluff, Ark., Willie G. Parks (Sandie) of Dalton, Ill. , Tyrone Parks (Mary) of Chicago, Ill., Ray Parks (Bobbie) of Pine Bluff, Ark., Albert PArks (Ann) of Dumas, Ark., Alonzo Parks of Pine Bluff, Ark., Lloyd Parks of Chicago. Ill., Bennie Parks of Pine Bluff, Ark., one aunt Georgia Matthews of Flint, Mich., a host of Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation may be made Tuesday 5 -6 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Remains will lie in state at the church Prairie Lake MBC 2611 Indiana Street 10 a.m. until funeral time.
Burial will be in Prairie Lake Cemetery Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Services by Perry Funeral Home.
