LITTLE ROCK — Benita Edington, 51, of Little Rock, formerly of Monticello, passed away Monday.
Survivors include five sons, Terrence Carter of Kansas City, Kan., Melvin Shipp of Jackson, Miss., Micheal Brooks, Keith Edington and Jeremy Edington , all of Little Rock; one daughter, Melanie Shipp of Monticello; her mother, Robbie Everett Edington of Monticello; two brothers, Bryan Edington of Monticello and Billy Wilkes of Kansas City, Mo.; nine sisters, Bridget Ziegler of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bessie Edington of Memphis, Tenn., Bonnie Griffin and Brookzine Scott, both of Monticello, Brenda Edington of Conway, and Beverly Bailey of Kansas City, Mo., Gloria Jean Hubbard and Dorease Grasper, both of Monticello and Mozell Grasper of Little Rock; thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
