Ben Wesley Holmes, 72, of Pine Bluff passed June 29, 2016. Born September 23, 1943 in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Wesley Holmes and Cleo Toney.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Holmes of Pine Bluff; son, Anthony Holmes of Pine Bluff; daughters, Shauna Holmes of Copperas Cove, Texas and Natasha Holmes of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; brother, John Russell, Jr. of Chicago; sisters, Brenda Ann Ward of Arlington, Texas and Debbar Russell of Pine Bluff; step-father, John H. Russell, Sr. of Altheimer.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday at St. John AME Church by Rev. Curlee Roberts. Burial will be in Henson Memorial Garden by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Wednesday at the mortuary.
The remains will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until funeral time.
