FRANKLIN, Mrs. Beatrice Jane West, age 89, of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. A native of Logan Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Albert Belcher and the late Thelma Scarborough Belcher. She was the wife of the late Willie Edmon West and was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Josiah Adam Drumm; two sisters Violet Goodman and Hazel Christmas; and a brother Jerry Belcher. She is survived by two children Feral West (Faye) of Pine Bluff, AR and Wilma Jane Whitten (Chad) of Franklin, KY, three sisters Lucille Cain and Magdelene Cline both of Indianapolis, IN, and Janice Hardison of Auburn, KY; two brothers James Belcher and J.T. Belcher; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Mrs. West was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church and former member of the Ruth Electra Eastern Star.
Services were held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home in Franklin, KY.
