A Pine Bluff man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a suspected methamphetamine lab that was found in a storage shed behind a house at 6200 Indian Hills.
According to the intake log at the Jefferson County Adult Detention Center, Charles McNew Jr., 28, was booked in at 8:07 p.m. on probable cause of manufacturing methamphetamine with no bond, pending an expected court appearance Friday.
Wednesday, Pine Bluff Police Department Capt. Skip Elliott said samples of the material collected from the shed will be sent to the State Crime Laboratory for analysis to verify that the material was methamphetamine.
