Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, a division of the Department of Career Education, will host Community Connections at its Pine Bluff field office, 2703 W. 28th Ave.
The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14.
This is a chance for Rehabilitation Services to share information about its programs. The agency provides services to Arkansans with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities in obtaining and keeping jobs.
Rehabilitation Services commissioner Alan McClain will be at the event and will give remarks, along with clients and vendors who will share their experiences using the agency.
The event also continues the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, created to eliminate discrimination and to foster equal opportunity for people with disabilities.
