Ann Owens Bell, age 80, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, April 1, 2016.
Born August 20, 1935 at Georgetown, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Harry Owens and Iva Sanders Pope.
A resident of Pine Bluff since 1958, Mrs. Bell was a member of Central Baptist Church, and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, arts and crafts. She loved taking care of others.
She was preceded in death in 1982 by her husband, William Bell; and a son, Michael Ackerman.
Survivors include a son, Richard Ackerman; four daughters, Faye Strom, Sharon Wingard, Donna Cothran, and Kimberly Threlkeld; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Ackerman; a sister, Belinda Lambert; 15 grandchildren, Mark Strom, Tina Cagle, Amanda Ackerman, Sarah Ackerman, MiCa Ackerman, Samantha Ackerman, Robert Yaney, Angelia Yaney, Jamie Ackerman, Allen Cothran, Anthony Cothran, Ashlie Cothran, Jennifer DeVilbiss, Tamra Weber, Jessica Threlkeld, and Lisa Harrison; along with a number of great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South.
Private graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
