MONTICELLO — Alice Fortner Smith, 81, of Monticello, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at St. Vincents Infirmary Hospice Center in Little Rock. She was born July 7, 1931 in the Mt. Tabor community.
Survivors include three children, Patricia Ann Cook of Paris, Ark., Stanley Milton Smith of Brisbane, Australia and James Roy Smith of Monticello; two sisters, Ann Williams of Lubbock, Texas and Margaret Betts of Hobbs, N. M.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel, burial in Oakland Cemetery.
