A.J. Rushing, 80, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, July 5, 2015. Born May 9, 1935 at Rison, he was a son of the late William Andrew Rushing and Emma Rhodes Rushing. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
A.J. retired after 22 years as a mixer driver for Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Company.
He was also predeceased by his wife, Doris Ballew Rushing; brothers, Alec, Tom, A. B., Dick, Henry, and Jack Rushing; and a sister, Ollie Price.
Survivors include a sister, Rachel Shelby; daughters, Brittany Magness and Megan Rushing; sons, Randy Adams, Buck Carroll, and Thomas Carroll; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Harmony Cemetery with visitation prior to the service. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
