A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Friday after she allegedly stabbed her husband during a domestic altercation.
Lachary Watson, 37, allegedly said she pulled a knife out of a duffle bag in the back yard of their house in the 500 block of West 8th Avenue and stabbed the man when he picked up a board while they were still arguing.
Pine Bluff Police Department Detective Kaylon McDaniel said in a probable cause affidavit that the victim drove himself to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he was treated for the wound to the upper arm. The knife was recovered because it was still in the man’s arm when he went to the hospital.
According to the affidavit, Watson and her husband got into a verbal altercation inside the house, which progressed to the back yard where the stabbing allegedly occurred.
A $10,000 bond was set for Lachey on probable cause of second-degree battery and she was ordered to have no contact with her husband until the case is settled.
Records at the prosecutor’s office showed that Lachey has pending charges of robbery and theft of property that were filed earlier this year, and according to the jail log, she will also be held for a probation violation in Texas.
