The Central Arkansas Development Council ended the Low Income Home Utility Assistance Program Sept. 14 and stopped accepting applications for assistance because funds were depleted, according to a news release.
Since the summer LIHEAP program (regular and crisis) program began July 5, CADC distributed more than $1.53 million in the program.
