Mrs. Gwendolyn Wilkerson, 56, of Pine Bluff passed June 17, 2016. She was born November 4, 1959 in Pastoria, Ark., to the late William Freeman and Cleo Dockett Freeman.
Gwendolyn graduated from Altheimer High School in 1979 and obtained her nursing license in 1993. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Preston Wilkerson of Pine Bluff, a daughter Kalisha (Anthony) Patterson of Pine Bluff, 2 grandsons Kirel and Anthony Jr., 11 siblings Florida Young, Willie Lee Freeman, Brenda Franklin, Barbara Branch, Deborah Freeman, Sandra Chance, and Kathryn Thompson, William Freeman III, Jacqueline Freeman and Wayne Freeman and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25th at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Sherrill, Ark. Burial will be in Elwin-Jack Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m. today at Christian Way Funeral Home.
