Mr. Andrew S. Tyler, Jr, 81, of Pine Bluff passed June 10, 2016. He was born May 15, 1935 in Sherrill, Ark., son of Andrew Tyler, Sr. and Luebertha Tyler.
He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for forty-five (45) years. He joined Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church serving on the Usher Board.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maeola Tyler, his parents, two sisters, one brother, and one son.
Survivors include six sons, Gerald (Patricia) Jones of Pine Bluff, Lee Archie (Beverly) Tyler of Little Rock, William Tyler of Jacksonville, Ark., Sean Tyler of Phoenix, Ariz., Chuck (Laverene) Tyler of Calif., Jason (Lakendra) Tyler of Pine Bluff; four daughters, Ann Tyler of Tucker, Ark., Janice Tyler of Pine Bluff, Clara Freeman of Pine Bluff, Patricia (Charles) Thornton of Calif.; five brothers, Elois Tyler of St. Louis, Mo., Willie Tyler of Milwaukee, Wis., Curtis Ray Tyler of Pine Bluff, Jerome Tyler of St. Louis, Mo. and Don Tyler of Pine Bluff; six sisters, Geneva Taylor of St. Louis, Mo., Clementin Jones of Chicago, Ill., Lucille Hubbard of Chicago, Ill., Helen Ingram of Milwaukee, Wis., Sybil Campbell of Pine Bluff, and Doris Tyler of Pine Bluff; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday June 18, 2016 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Glenn Barnes, Pastor.
Visitations will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Services provided by Perry Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
