Brenda Stephens
NOBLE LAKE – Brenda Kay Powell Stephens of the Noble Lake community died October 4, 2015. She was born September 14, 1951, in Bastrop, La., and moved to Pine Bluff at the age of 7.
She was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and Pine Bluff Beauty College. Her hobbies were taking care of her mother and crocheting. Ms. Stephens was a very compassionate and giving person.
She was preceded in death by her father, H. S. Powell Jr. Survivors include her mother, Corine Powell of Noble Lake, daughter, Angela Cox (Michael) of Sheridan, son, Edward Stephens Jr. (Jennifer) of Star City, two brothers, John Powell (Kay) of Pine Bluff, and Joe Powell (Tracey) of Pine Bluff, a sister, Marie Atwood of White Hall, grandchildren Ashley Cox, Chris Cox, Ashley Baughman, Heather Cox, Braiden Stephens and three nieces and five nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 07, from 2:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 3:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale South Funeral Services at 1621 South Cherry in Pine Bluff with Brother Josh Bivens officiating.
