HUMPHREY – Ms. Louise S. Hampton 77 of Humphrey, Ark., transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on September 9, 2015 at UAMS. She was born on December 26, 1937 to Arthur Sandford and Maggie Harris in Wabbaseka, Ark.

She attended school in the Wabbaseka School District.

She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Elder Robert Pendleton.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hosie Hampton, mother, Maggie Harris, father,Arthur Sandford. Siblings, C. B. Washington, Bernice King and Rosa Lee Lasley.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Linda (Ollie) Hampton of Humphrey, Ark.; sons, Donnie R. Hampton of Jacksonville, Ark., and James M. (Vickie) Murray of Stuttgart, Ark.; Three sisters, Annie Mae Jones of San Diego, Calif., Virginia Jones and Lenora (Theodis) Mitchell of Humphrey, Ark.; Goddaughter, Peggy Murray and Godson-Carl Holtgeerts. Four grandchildren, Stephanie (Kendrick) Harper of Carlisle, Ark., Marco (Tina) Murray, Brayden (Drika) Murray of Little Rock, Ark., and Malcolm Murray of Allport, Ark.; six great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Makiya, Boston and Hayden Murray of Little Rock, Ark., Jamarious and Jasean Harper of Carlisle, Ark., nieces, Florence Burton, Gloria and Shirley Washington. Caregiver, Mrs. Evelyn Jeffrey. Loving Friends, Pearlean Davis, Martha Cline, Brenda Miller and Ollie McPhearson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Church of God In Christ in Humphrey, Ark. Body will lie in state from 10:00-10:45 p.m..

Burial will be in Wabbaseka Community Cemetery in Wabbaseka, Ark.
