Mr. Darrell Bennie Lovett, Jr. was born on March 27, 1983 in Little Rock, Ark., to Floristine Brooks and Darrell Bennie Lovett, Sr. He died August 30, 2015 in Pine Bluff, Ark.
He grew up in Pine Bluff, Ark., and received his early education at Watson Chapel High School.
On October 6, 2014 he was joined in holy matrimony to LaTwlia Blackmon Lovett.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, the late Erma Jean Brooks and Marshall Brooks of Dumas, Ark.; his paternal grandparents, the late Mattie Jean Lovett and Bennie Lovett of Pine Bluff.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, LaTwlia; one daughter, Taylor Blackmon; two sons, Tyler Blackmon and Trendell Willis; his mother, Floristine Brooks of Pine Bluff, Ark.; his father, Darrell Bennie Lovett, Sr. (Elizabeth) of Minneapolis, Minn.; four sisters, Arlecia Dodds-Cobb (Steven), Kristine Robinson (Charles) and Mia Lovett all from Pine Bluff, and Erma Jean Lovett from Lafayette, Ind.; two brothers, Chester Lee James of Pine Bluff, and DeAnthony Lovett of Minneapolis, Minn.; two step brothers, Courtney Conner and LaMar Graves of Indianapolis, Iind., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Lampkin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 1300 E 26th Ave Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The body will lie in state from 10:15 a.m. until time service. Visitation will be Monday, September 7, 2015 at Christian Way Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. .
