Mrs. Emma Lee Collins entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2015 with her family by her side at her home in Tamo, Arkansas.
Born on August 9, 1926, in Sweden, Arkansas, Emma was the seventh child of Ellen and Charlie Howard.
On September 29, 1947, she was united in holy matrimony to Roy Collins, Jr.
Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roy Collins, Jr., sisters: Jimmie Varnado, Naomi Fluker(Rance), Elestine Pratt, Dorothy Ventress(Charlie), Beatrice Evans(Earl) Juanita Bolden (Nathaniel), Mae Vivian White, brothers: Robert Collins(Nettie), Eddie Collins(Mabel), James Colllins(Thelma); Sons: Cleveland Dandridge, Jr.(Denise), Cornelius Collins, Cliff Collins(Alice), Bennie Collins(Lazenie), Kenny Collins, Vince Collins(Doreen), daughters: Helen Darrough(Bobby), Janice Rosendahl(Stan), Velma Collins, Bernadine Buie(Leonard) Sherrye Mance, forty-one grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 29,2015, at the Family Church, 2500 AR-104, White Hall,Arkansas,, 71602, with Pastor Timothy Pratt Sr., officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove section of Graceland Cemetery, with services entrusted to the P.K. Miller Mortuary. Visitation is Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Mrs. Collins will lie in repose at the church, Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
