Mr. Robert Lee Woods, 60 of Pine Bluff, Ark., transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home on August 14, 2015 at JRMC. Robert was born April 22, 1955 in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Elzie Woods, Sr. and Drusilla Reynolds Woods.
At an early age, Robert professed his faith in Christ at the Woodman Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late pastor W.M. Louden. He attended Worship Services at Mt. Bayou Baptist Church at Altheimer, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elzie Woods, Sr. and Drusilla Reynolds Woods, brothers-Huey P. Woods and Nathaniel Woods.
Robert leaves to cherish his memories: Wife-Diane Woods, sons-Terrell Woods, Robert Lee Woods, Jr, Nathaniel Woods, Dionne Woods and Leonard Payne, daughters-Dineshia Payne and Umeka Payne, Robin Woods, and step-daughter Cherrelle McNeal, Brothers- Elzie Woods, Jr. and Lafayette Woods, Sr., Sisters-Ida B. Woods, Bobbie Jean Estis, Ernestine Bennett, Lois Ann Williams, seven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel MBC. Visitation will be held today 5-7 p.m. at Christian Way Funeral Home.
