Funeral services for Helen Barnes Hughes, 79, of Pine Bluff, passed July 20 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Spiritual Temple Church of God in Christ, Elder John Bynum pastor, 1001 S. Linden Street, Pine Bluff, Ark.
She was born May 03, 1936 to the late Charles Barners and Mary Barners. She attended school in Louisville, Ky., received her high school diploma.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Searcy L. Hughes of Pine Bluff; one son, Wesley Laruex of Norman, Okla.; one daughter, jackie Laruex of Ft. Wayne, Ind., many extended brother, sisters, nieces, nephews.
Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Services by Perry Funeral Home.
