EUDORA – Rev. Mark Hendrick Gayfield, 57 of Eudora passed Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born February 18, 1957 in Eudora, he was son of the late Ogilvia and Hazel Jones Gayfield. He was a member of Zion Chapel M.B.C. in Eudora serving as an Associate Minister.
Survivors include three sons, Christopher Johnson of Humble, Texas, Chico Pickrom, Roscoe Lasker both of Conway, one brother, Louis Gayfield of Eudora, two sisters, Linda Gayfield of Eudora, Regina Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Zion Chapel M.B.C. in Eudora with Rev. Edwin Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Holly Grove #2 Cemetery in Eudora by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas. The body will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
