NORTH LITTLE ROCK – Charles Lewis Williams, 60, of North Little Rock passed away on January 28, 2015. Born on October 19, 1954, in Pine Bluff, Ark., he was the oldest son and the sixth child of Eunice and Dorothy Mae Willingham Williams and the grandson of Lushion and Mattie Williams and Thomas Jefferson and Aislee Monts Willingham of Grant County. He joined the Marine Corps. On being honorably discharged, he was employed as a Security Guard at the Pine Bluff Arsenal.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Evester Louise Darrough; and niece, Tonya NaTria Darrough, both of Flint, Mich. He is survived by two brothers, Sterlin D. (Priscilla) Williams, Baton Rouge, La., and Ted Williams, Taylor, Mich.; seven sisters, Dr. Bettye J. Williams, Pine Bluff; Shirley M. Williams, Little Rock; Dr. Brenda F. Graham, Melrose Park, Ill.; Dr. Margarette W. (Lewis) Williams, Pine Bluff; N. Lucille Gilkey, Fort Worth, Texas; Robin N. Baylark, Little Rock; Sonnya N. (Dwight) Adams, Wichita, Kan.; three aunts, Versa L. (Sam) Berry, Flint, Mich.; Nettie Morrison, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Annie B. Ford, Saginaw, Mich.; and nephews, nieces, great nephews, a great niece, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2015, at Brown Funeral Home, 2704 Commerce Circle, Pine Bluff.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at New Town Baptist Church, 3600 West Second Avenue, Pine Bluff, with visitation from 12:30 p.m., to the time of the funeral. Burial will be at Forrest Lawn Cemetery, Pine Bluff.
