Pamela Kay Thornton Cranford, age 62, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, January 2, 2015.
Born September 2, 1952 at Hot Springs, she was a daughter of the late James Eugene “Jack” Thornton, Jr. and Katherine Elizabeth Precise Thornton. She graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1970.
A resident of Pine Bluff since 1979, Pam had worked as a bookkeeper; then as a legal assistant for the Baim Law Firm; and then as a small business owner prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Jefferson County Humane Society, was an avid animal rescuer, and had many beloved pets throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Brandy Christina Cranford; two grandchildren, Allyssa Jade Cranford and Brayden Christopher Cranford.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Cranford and Shaun Cranford (Ginnie); a brother, James E. Thornton, III (Denise); three grandchildren, Peyton Cranford, Dylan Isenhour, and Tallon Cranford; a niece and a nephew, Jamie Charboneau and Jody Thornton (Jessica); great-nieces and nephews, Josie Thornton, Jules Thornton, James E. “Jack” Thornton, IV, Macey Charboneau, and Luke Charboneau; the father of her children, Chris Cranford; and life-long friends, Tina Williams, Jo Anne Browning, and Ray Cook.
Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hot Springs with Jason Holcomb officiating.
