MAGNOLIA – Cloye Jean Phillips Light, age 77, of Magnolia, formerly of Pine Bluff, died
Wednesday, November 26, 2014.
She was born December 21, 1936 at Hot Springs, a daughter of the late Henry Phillips and Gladys Harrison Phillips.
Mrs. Light retired as a sewing machine operator for Himalayan Industries after many years of service. As the years went by, she took care of her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death in December of 1989 by her husband, William “Bill” Clinton Light, whom she married on November 6, 1964; a daughter, Diann Herrington; two brothers, Melvin Phillips and Glen Phillips; a sister, Marlene Ennis; and a grandson, Larry Gene Light.
Her survivors include a son, Tommy C. Light and wife Jacquie of Magnolia; a brother, Ray Phillips; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. prior to service time.
