Andrew Jackson Jr.


Andrew “Bae Bae” Teddy Jackson Jr., 69, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born to the late Andrew Teddy Jackson Sr. and Eddie Mae Jackson on March 30, 1945.

Andrew accepted Christ at an early age where he joined Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church. In 1963 he graduated from Southeast Junior Senior High and joined the United States Army the same year. After being honorably discharged from the Army he returned to Pine Bluff where he worked for the International Paper Mill, later the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and finally serving his country again at the Pine Bluff Arsenal.

He is preceded in death by three brothers; Percy Jackson Jr., Willie Jackson, and Virgial Hampton Jr. and one sister; Annie Mae Husband.

Andrew has passed but his legacy will live on through his five children, Lisa, Sydace, Ramey, Tequinta, and Randall (Victoria) Jackson, five brothers, Perry, John, Jerry, Robert Earl, George (Queen Ester) Jackson. Three sisters, Katherine Fletcher, Mattie Mickle, and Ida Marie Murphy (Tonie), nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 3 p.m., at the P.K. Miller Mortuary. Interment will proceed the service in Graceland Cemetery, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014, at the P.K. Miller Mortuary from 5-7 p.m.
