OKLAHOMA CITY – Mary Louise (Hicks) Smith, 95, homemaker and former resident of Pine Bluff, died August 15, 2014 in Oklahoma City. She was born to Lorie Ted and Anna Lee (Offutt) Hicks of Kingsland on November 3, 1918. Visitation will be Friday, August 22 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, August 23 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
In 1939, she married S J Smith (deceased) of Fordyce, and bore five children over the next 17 years: Dr. S J (Joe) (deceased), of Nevada (Jody, now of Idaho), Larry, of Idaho, Sharon Sullivan, of Texas (Charles), Jay, of Texas (Gina), and Kristie Genheimer, of Oklahoma (Steve).
