Herman Lee McCarter, 79, of Pine Bluff died June 12, 2013 at Davis Life Care Center. He was born March 17, 1934 in Sherrill, Ark. to the late Andy and Willie McCarter.
Survivors include two sons; Rodney McCarter and Sherman McCarter of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Sharon McCarter Davis of Pine Bluff; two brothers, James McCarter of Milwaukee and Scipo Johnson of Moscow, Ark.; four sisters, Ora Gray and Anette Cole of Pine Bluff, Bertha Ailsworth of Moscow and Georgia Scarver of Chicago; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Henson-Holcomb Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Patrick Lockett. Burial will be in Henson Memorial Garden by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 5-6 p.m. at the mortuary. Online register www.henson-holcombmortuary.com
