Kenneth Wayne Woods, 53, of Pine Bluff died at Davis Life Care Center on Saturday, August 4, 2012. He was born April 16, 1959 at Sherrill, Ark. to the late Levert Woods and Jessie M. Walls-Woods.
He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at the St. Mark MBC under the leadership of the late Rev. Roosevelt Kentle. He attended the Sherrill-Rosenwald Schools and Pine Bluff School District. He served in the United States Marines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Levert Woods and brother, Freddie Walls.
Survivors include two brothers, Glenn Woods and Robyn Woods of Little Rock, two sisters, Dorothy Abraham of Little Rock and Lesia Woods of Pine Bluff; mother, Jessie Walls-Woods of Pine Bluff and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Henson Memorial Garden by Rev. Leon Williams. Arrangements by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
