Clyde Lawrence Thomas, 84, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, March 17, 2012.
He was born July 13, 1927 at Panama City, Fla., a son of the late Noah Enoch Thomas and Sarah Bowen Thomas. A 1945 graduate of Panama City High School, he was a retired paper machine operator for International Paper Company.
Mr. Thomas was a member of Forrest Park Assembly of God Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Mae Miller Thomas on August 28, 2002; five brothers, Mark, Hugh, Earl, Kermit, and Hoyt Thomas; and by his sisters, Ruth Oates and Elizabeth Guy.
Survivors include a brother, George Thomas of Panama City; nieces and nephews; and his caregiver, Bobbie Smith of Pine Bluff.
Visitation will be Thursday, beginning at 9 a.m., with the funeral service following at 10 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Chapel. Brother David Dalton will officiate, and interment will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens.
